Six riding days, multiple mountain valleys and thousands of metres of climbing — designed for riders who want to experience the High Atlas rather than simply pass through it.

Best Time to Ride

Choose your season.
Ride the mountains.

The High Atlas can be ridden across much of the year, but each season offers a different experience. For this expedition, we generally recommend spring and autumn for the best combination of comfortable temperatures, trail conditions and mountain scenery.

Lower valleys

Winter brings colder conditions and snow can affect higher mountain routes. Lower-elevation routes may remain accessible, depending on current conditions.

Our Recommendation

Spring and autumn are our favourites.

If you want the classic High Atlas mountain biking experience, spring and autumn usually offer the most comfortable balance of temperatures and riding conditions.

That said, there is no single perfect month. Mountain weather, recent rainfall, trail conditions and altitude can all influence the experience. We select and adjust routes according to the conditions when your trip takes place.

Best Overall

Mar–May

& Sep–Nov

Comfortable temperatures, varied landscapes and excellent conditions for multi-day mountain biking.

Important: Seasonal information is a general guide rather than a guarantee. Conditions can vary from year to year, and the final route may be adjusted according to weather, trail conditions, local access and the ability of the group.
